Umrah and Eda Form

In the language of jurists; It is the name of the worship performed by visiting and circumambulating the Kaaba and counting the distance between Safa and Marwa.
Umrah is a sunnah muakkadah. The number of scholars who say that pilgrimage is obligatory for those who meet the conditions is not small.
There is no specific time. It can be done in any season of the year. However, it is makruh to do it on the four days of Arafa and Eid al-Adha.
It is more virtuous to do it in Ramadan.
Abu Hurayra (ra) narrates. Our Prophet (pbuh) said: بَيْنَهُماَ، وَ الْحَجُّ الْمَبْـرُورُ لَيْسَ لَـهُ جَزاَءٌ إِلاَّ الْجَنَّـةُ.))
"Umrah is atonement for what is between it and the next Umrah. The reward of a pilgrimage performed sincerely and free from hypocrisy and disobedience is undoubtedly heaven." (Muttefekun Aleyh)
Ibn Abbas (ra) narrates: Our Prophet (pbuh) said to Umm Sinan, one of the Ansar wives, "When Ramadan comes, do Umrah! "The reward of Umrah performed there is equal to the reward of Hajj." (Muttefekun Aleyh)
FORM OF UMRA:
Our brother who heads towards Beytullah to perform Umrah, who wants to rest his eyes and heart next to the Kaaba, to find peace, and to be filled with a brand new determination on the right path! Just as you have the enthusiasm to reach the places where the light of Islam first began to spread and where many memories were made, to visit the Messenger of Allah, to prepare and soften your hearts for this journey;
Before Entering Ihram:
* Do the necessary body cleaning. If possible, wear a nice scent.
It is forbidden for ladies to wear scents that will be felt by others outside their homes, just like at other times.
* Take your sanitary precautions. Wear clothes that comply with the prohibition of ihram.
Men undress all the clothes they are wearing, and only cover themselves with two pieces of cover called "izar" and "rida".
Izar is called the part that is tied to the waist and covers the lower part of the waist, and rida is the part that is worn on the shoulder and covers the top.
It is recommended that these two covers be white, new and clean. Also, it should be thick enough not to reveal the limbs.
They wear slippers on their feet. If they cannot find slippers, they make their shoes so that they do not cover their heels.
Women do not take off their dresses. For them, hijab is always the most suitable and appropriate one. However, women do not cover their faces with anything that touches their faces, leaving no space between them.
They wear shoes, socks, and they may wear gloves.
When Entering Ihram:
After these preparations, at the miqat limit or before:
* As a sunnah of ihram -if it is not the time for evil- perform a two-rakat prayer.
* After the prayer, make the intention for "Umrah". This intention is made as follows: God bless you. نَوَيْتُ الْعُمْـرَةَ وَ أَحْرَمْتُ بِهاَ ِللهِ تَعـاَلىَ.
"O Allah, I want to perform Umrah for your sake. Make it easy for me to perform it and accept my umrah. For the sake of Allah, I made the intention to perform Umrah and put on ihram."
When you get up from the place where you pray and head towards the journey, say "Talbiye".
Telbiye. :
لَبَّيْكَ اَللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ. لَبَّيْكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ. God bless you, God bless you لَكَ.
"Lebbeyk Allahumme lebbeyk. Lebbeyke lâ şerîke lek lebbeyk. Innel praise and grace, stain velmülk lâ şerîke lek."
"Oh my God! I am ready to run to your commands and obey at every moment. There is no partner with you. I obey your orders and invitation wholeheartedly and faithfully. I will answer. Surely, praise and blessing belong to you. The property belongs to you and you have no partner." From this moment on, pay attention to the prohibitions of ihram.
* Bring talbiyah along the way, especially as you ascend to the hills, descend into the valleys, meet a new group, stay and move, go to a new region or city.
* Choose to bring talbiyah three times at a time. Do not forget to say takbir, tahlil and salawat-i sharif.
When you arrive in Mecca:
* When you reach Mecca, pull yourself together again.. Take bath or ablution.
* Head towards Beytullah with talbiyah, takbir and analysis.
* During these times, help your believing brothers more selflessly than ever before. Please advise the truth. Do not offend them.
* Even if the hardships and fatigue of the journey are upon you, avoid being grumpy and arguing with others.
* Be prepared physically and spiritually for the first time you see Beytullah. When you arrive, pray with sincere feelings.
* Prepare for tawaf.
Men bring the right end of their robe from behind their shoulders, pass it under their right arm, and hang it behind their left shoulder. Thus, the right shoulder remains exposed.
This is called “ıztıbâ”; It is sunnah of tawaf with a number behind it. And it continues throughout the tawaf. When you finish the tawaf, cover your shoulders. It is makruh to pray with your shoulders open.
* Then, for the tawaf, head towards the corner where the "Hacerü'l-Esved" is located.
* This tawaf you will perform is the "umrah tawaf". Make the intention and start circumambulating the Haceru'l-Esved.
Istîlam: It means touching the Hacerü'l-Esved. The remote sign also takes its place. It is done by raising both hands with the inner parts facing Hacerü'l-Esved and saying "Bismillahi Allahu Akbar".
Tawaf takes 7 rounds. Each round begins in Hacerü'l-Esved and ends in Hacerü'l-Esved.
Do "remel" in the first three rounds of the tawaf.
Remel: It means walking struttingly, with short steps, in a light running position, shaking the shoulders. Ladies do not perform ramel.
* When you finish the tawaf, perform the two-rakat tawaf prayer. This prayer is important. If you are in a time of sin, leave it for later and perform it at a perfect time.
* Then drink plenty of zamzam and pour it over your body.
* While heading towards Safa, come to Hacerü'l-Esved and leave by invading. It is from the sunnah.
Say takbir, analyze, praise, say salawat.
* Arrive at Safa. The Sa'y you will perform is the "Sa'y of Umrah". Say sa'y with this intention.
* Do "hervele" between two green poles.
Hervele: It is the name of a fast run. It is different from Remel, it is faster. However, one should not run with all their might in a way that would damage the dignity of the Muslim.
It is the sunnah of every shavt of Hervele Sa'yın. Ladies do not perform hervele.
Sa'y is 7 rounds. The walk starting from Safa and ending in Marwa is a shawt. Returning from Marwah to Safa is the second round. Thus, the ongoing sa'y starts from Safa and ends in Marwa.
In other words, sa'y consists of 7 rounds, 4 going from Safa to Marwah and 3 returning from Marwah to Safa.
*After sa'y, shave your hair and get out of ihram. Thus, your Umrah will be completed.
There are two types of haircut:
Public: It means shaving the entire hair from the roots. This is better.
Taksir: It means cutting off one-third or one-fourth of the head by the "unmule amount" (the length of the end of the three knuckles of the finger).
Shaving that harms the dignity of a Muslim, such as hitting one side of the head with the razor and leaving the other sides, leaving only bangs, etc., is makruh.
Those whose hair length is less than the "unmule" amount cannot make taksir, people have to do it. Ladies just make mistakes. It is considered tahrimi makruh to do it in public. From the moment you shave, all ihram prohibitions are lifted. Your Umrah is completed. You can wander around Mecca like a Meccan, perform voluntary circumambulation, and spend your time in worship and prayers. It is not easy for someone who comes from a distant land to be in the presence of Beytullah frequently. Appreciating the moments you are in and doing your due is a real blessing.
The Miqat place for Umrah for those who are from Mecca or those who are considered to be Meccans is outside the borders of the harem. You can perform new Umrah by going outside the Harem borders of Mecca.
It is better to choose "Tan'im" or "Ci'râne" to enter ihram from outside the harem borders. Because Ten'im is the place where Mother Aisha entered ihram upon the order of the Prophet (pbuh).
Ci'râne is the place where our Prophet (pbuh) entered ihram after the Battle of Hunain and the Expedition of Taif.
Although it is not an honor, one can also enter ihram from other "hill" points. Like Arafat, Hudaybiyyah, Jeddah… / SOURCE: Dr. M.Şerafeddin KALAY / Umrah Guide
