What is Hajj?

Hajj literally means "to intend, to mean, to set a goal and set a path towards it, to visit it". The repetition of this intention and intent is more appropriate to the meaning of the pilgrimage.

In a way; It means "directing towards a goal that has a high place in the heart and moving towards it, carrying this intention over and over again."

In the fiqh sense; "To perform one of the pillars of the holy religion, it is to set Beytullah as a target, to mean it, to turn towards it, to follow the path, to visit it." It lasts until the end of the day). center;">If a person does not perform Umrah during the pilgrimage season, but only intends to perform the pilgrimage, puts on ihram and comes to Mecca to perform the pilgrimage, that person will be deemed to have performed the pilgrimage.

2 - Hajj-i Temettu' (without returning to one's homeland or family home) within the same pilgrimage.

In other words; In the same pilgrimage season, during a single pilgrimage, first arrive at Beytullah with the intention of Umrah, perform the Umrah circumambulation and Sa', shave and take off the ihram; It is the pilgrimage that is performed by intending to perform the pilgrimage, then putting on the ihram and performing the necessary rituals before ascending to Arafat.

3 - Hajj-I KIRAN

It is the performance of Umrah and the pilgrimage by combining them in one state of ihram and one intention during the pilgrimage months of the same year.

It is obligatory for those who perform Hajj Kiran and Hajj Temettu to sacrifice a sacrifice as a thank you for combining the two acts of worship (Umrah and Hajj) in the same season. It is not obligatory to sacrifice a sacrifice for those who perform Hajj-i Ifrat. If it is slaughtered, it is considered permissible.

According to the Hanafi sect, the order of merit of these types of pilgrimage is as follows:

1-Hajj-ı Kıran, 2-Hajj-ı Temettu', 3-Hajj-ı İfrad
